We don't roll our own maps. Every file comes from a major European tuning house with thousands of vehicle hours behind every calibration. Safe, well-validated tunes, not amateur experimentation.

Most jobs we can do at your workshop or at your home: Watford, Bushey, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. If the vehicle can't move, we can access it remotely through your OBD port too.

Questions we get asked most.
- How long does an ECU remap take?
- Around 30 to 60 minutes on most modern vehicles once we're connected at the OBD port. Bench-pinout jobs and DPF or EGR removal extend that. We block out a one to two hour window so there's no rush at your bay.
- Is ECU remapping legal in the UK?
- A pure software remap is legal. You're obliged to declare the modification to your insurer. DPF removal and EGR blanking will fail the MOT visual or emissions check on vehicles originally fitted with those systems. We talk you through what's legal for your specific vehicle and intended use before any work happens.
- What's the difference between a Stage 1 and a Stage 2 remap?
- Stage 1 is a software-only remap on an otherwise standard vehicle. Stage 2 assumes supporting hardware changes such as an upgraded intercooler, sports cat or decat, and higher-flow induction. Stage 2 only makes sense if the hardware is already on the car. Most road vehicles we remap are Stage 1.
- Will a remap void my manufacturer warranty?
- A manufacturer warranty may not cover related faults after a remap. If the vehicle is still inside warranty we'll usually advise waiting unless you're prepared for that risk. For vehicles out of warranty it's not a concern.
- Do you remap diesel and petrol vehicles?
- Both. The bulk of our work is on diesel turbo and modern direct-injection petrol turbo engines, but we also remap naturally aspirated petrols where there's a meaningful gain to be had.
- Do you come to my workshop, or do I bring the vehicle to you?
- Both work. We cover Watford, Bushey and the surrounding Hertfordshire area mobile, and remote remapping is an option for workshops outside that radius via a cable in the OBD port. Call and we'll arrange whichever makes sense for the job.
